The temple of the Eternal {unfinished account}

I’m talking with Dewey’s wife Deborah Shines, she mentioned that Dewey has claimed that Montgomery owned an entire town in North Dakota. A town named Temple.

Percival was interested in what Montgomery was hiding there, so he and Lucien flew out to a city in North Dakota about five hours away, from their destination.

While stopped to get food in the nearby town of Tioga, people stop and stare and treat them as outsiders. the waitress, at the diner, was seen calling someone on her cellphone. And a police officer soon arrives.

As we leave and stop to get gas, we see that the sheriff is inside. While filling up and grabbing snacks, the Sheriff, gives us the third degree about why we are here and where we’re going. He showed a symbol of Ankroptic hidden inside his hat to Percival, and recommended and hotel to stay the night in.

After finishing talking with the Sheriff, we headed on to Temple. At drive into Temple, we came across an emaciated man wearing rags who was stumbling down the road. We stopped and asked him if he needed anything and he just stared at us. Percival offers him a snack, which he took. We asked home if he needed anything, and he asked if we had any milk.

… We did not, so the man walked off down the road heading towards Tioga.

As we pulling to the remnants of Temple a woman with a baby carriage stood on the corner of a four way stop, where the intersecting roads had been completely torn up. Again we stopped and asked if she needed anything, she then lifted her shirt and told us her “teets had run dry” we offered her some food, she never responded to us so we drove on.

Continuing our drive we saw and old diner, in the doorway, was another emaciated man who was sleeping, sitting or dead, we didn’t really want to find out, so we pressed onward.

We then passed by the remains of a gas station, while not to sure, we think we saw movement inside, and as we passed by a man in white robe, similar to a klan robe was seen just outside of it.

Again we pressed on, to go to the old player piano factory. Which was a little ways outside the town, first we passed an old run down church, with what looks like a small tent town outside of it. We kept on going to the factory, deciding we would visit the church on the way back.

Percival decided to stop as we passed over where some railroad track once were to take some pictures. That was when we noticed the people walking down the road, off in the distance.

… as we drove on towards the player piano factory we slowly drove past a procession of sixteen people. One in a black robe, with swollen eyes sewn shut, leading the procession. Four in white robes, who were skinny but not emaciated. The rest were emaciated in rags. As we passed the stopped and stared at us as the man in the black robes held his hands up and out above his head.

As we approached the old factory, we saw that the parking lot was filled with dilapidated tents, ans some movement was seen amongst the tents.

Getting out of the vehicle and walking towards the entrance to the factory a man in rags approached and made some harmonic sounds which Percival flippantly mimicked to them, causing them to put their hands over their eyes.

Another person came and seeing the man with his hands over this eyes, covered his eyes, followed by another, and then a group of three came around the corner of building, wielding knives, then saw the others with their eyes covered, dropped their knives and covered their eyes.

Percival and Lucien decided to go inside.

The inside of the factory was a wreck, furniture destroyed, papers strewn everywhere. Looking around Percival and Lucien found schematic for many different types of automatons, and the schematic plans for a couple of encryptions machines, one of them might have even been for one phone box but we wouldn’t know until we could sit down and look them over more closely.


Worse was the factory floor, with scores of dead bodies, or rather pieces of bodies wrapped in wire or twine and hanging and/or attached to the machinery in the factory.

Lucien could feel some pull to go deeper, but we did not, instead we left the factory. To go back to the car. Once outside we were confronted with roughly thirty disheveled and emaciated people standing outside the door, cover their eyes with their hands.

We got in our car and drove towards the old church.

Once we arrived, we saw that the tent city, outside the church, was very old, and in much worse shape than that of the one outside the factory.

Noticing that the church door was open, we steeled ourselves and entered, finding the sixteen people who were walking down the road inside holding service.
