Nine people are dead, including 3 gunmen, and 16 others wounded when gunmen opened fire in an Italian nightclub. There is not a whole lot unusual about it. Investigators suspect the gunmen actually shot each other probably in a crossfire though they may have planned a "suicide" pact.
A few headlines are leading with the story, "Best Selling Author Morna Demarkov Survived Mass Shooting."

Oltav tells TMZ he has been too consumed with his Trilliant Ranch project and dodges questions about legal proceedings and the state of his financial affairs. He tells them instead that the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors will be installed and used to purify all the water on the ranch.

Billionaire eccentric and bedridden quadriplegic Thomas E. Tolbert has passed away. Tolbert was mostly known for living vicariously through his staff which he often sent out on adventures ranging from sky diving to fighting professional boxers. Not all of Tolbert's "adventures" were so benign however. He made headlines when one caregiver carried out his request to see what it was like to take candy from babies, several staff members wound up dead, and several convicted for murder.
Tolbert passed peacefully in his sleep. In one of his last conversations he told his long time friend and caregiver that through his surrogates he has a lived a life fuller than anyone else ever could.
