Concerning the shooting downtown:
Police had initially misidentified the shooter as the daughter of the secretary but have apologized for the mistake and blamed an error, likely due to cross contamination, in their initial DNA analysis. They've made no further comment on the identity of the 3rd person.
The Board of Directors for the Preservation Society has come out and said they are quite saddened by the news and hope to pick a new director soon.
Concerning the fire at the Ellis House:
The fire is being investigated as an arson and is currently believed to be connected to the shooting, and perhaps in retaliation for the shooting that occurred recently at the office. The police are currently investigating and have said they have several persons of interest they are looking into.
Oltav:
Oltav's legal issues continue to mount and several woman have come forward accusing him of sexual assault both at his home and while they were attending spiritual retreats he hosted.
His most recent book "Unlocking Our Inner Structures" has been dropped by his publisher.
Oltav has continued to deny all allegations and says he is continuing to focus on his latest project, the construction of the Trilliant Ranch, which will serve as a center point for the spiritually awakened.
Morna
Morna was scheduled to be on Dr. Phil but has been canceled. Dr. Phil is being criticized by several women's groups, who are rally to Morna's defense, after he was heard calling Morna, "...a monster, a psychotic monster," and went on to say, "...she is going to kill someone one day." He said he made his comments, "in the moment," and that they were meeting to discuss the show when she grew argumentative and stormed out. He said she paused at the door and pointed two fingers at him, "like a gun," and he was legitimately worried about his safety as they had met without the usual security provided by the studio.
For her part Morna came out and said that while discussing the show she realized he only wanted to talk about and sensationalize the early chapters in her book in which she wrote about being sexually assaulted at a young age. She said at first she was put off because her book is about hope and success and there is more to her than being a survivor of organized crime brutality and trafficking. She went on to say though that she became worried because he kept coming back around to it and wondered if he was some sort of pervert. At that point she said she decided to trust her instincts and left. Morna denies making a gun gesture and said she was pointing at him and telling him to stay away from her as he was getting up when she was trying to leave.
