Daniel gets a phone call from Madam Sylvia.
He seems a bit shaken by it.
He leads into it by saying he first met Sylvia when he was little, "after his dad tried to eat his mom."
They reconnected some years later when both were investigating a poltergeist. It was his first "real" experience with the paranormal and they concluded the cause was from the previous homeowners. Sylvia began tracking the home owners and found a pattern of paranormal activity whenever they moved but she lost track of them.
She then got a call from the sheriff of Shepardstown West Virginia, (Anthony McBride) who she knows, and he asked her to look into an issue they just had.
Her and Daniel believe there is an occult group that moves around the country causing the problems.

She is not sure if they are all actually involved or not with each other.
Shepardstown Details:
From what she can tell; Durham, Grant, and Fisher purchased three homes there four years ago on the same street.
Three years later the houses sat empty for about a year and then were purchased and rented with Long & Foster which is a semi local real estate agency managing the rentals.
The families in the homes have all been there just under a year.
Crawfords

Rodriguez
Two weeks ago the Rodriquez's daughter was hit on her bicycle by a car.
A week later Rhodes' girlfriend killed herself. (According to Rhodes)
The Crawfords simply moved out several days later and haven't been heard from.
Sheriff McBride can provide more details. He is holding the homes closed and under investigation but pressure is on him.
Chester Burgess has shown interest in buying the homes, and already owns most of the neighborhood anyway...as well as plenty of property downtown.
Sylvia and McBride just want the homes checked and a confirmation one way or another if there is paranormal activity.
Sylvia, if there is paranormal activity, wants some evidence that maybe the occult group is involved. She is also pretty certain that the same Durham recently moved to the Atlanta area.
---Keep in mind Sylvia is going off of property records and such and has never actually seen Durham or the others. She really only has a list of names which have several times turned up together on the same streets.---
