I'm putting this here as I figure whatever info the PI returns will be shared.
She has had a busy day and half or so. She is currently in Boston.
Ellis Estate House:
She was able to get into the house.
The gates are locked but the fence running around the property is easy enough to climb over.
She went out at night and found the grounds a bit confusing to navigate in the dark.
No signs of security or cameras.
Ground around the house was incredibly muddy.
Door to house was unlocked.
Found nobody in the house or on the grounds.
Visited the Preservation Society's office:
She told them she was looking for a runaway teen that may have wandered onto the grounds or sought shelter there.
They had a "wall of donors" with some very high profile and wealthy donors. Lots of senators and political figures.
They agreed to let her check the property with a tour guide.
The guide seemed honestly surprised to find the ground soaked and said a pipe must have burst.
They spent about 1.5 hours at the house.
They walked the foot paths around the property for about 45 minutes.
They checked the house, she found no signs of anyone there.
The house was very damp and mildewy.
Other Things:
She thought she saw a figure in the attic window when there at night but found nobody there.
The mud around the house seemed to be salt water.
On neither trip did she go into the cellar.
The house has power, but she didn't turn any lights on when visited at night.
She found several odd symbols carved on trees. (I'll post it later)
Other Oddities:
A man named Tom Cunningham is suppose to have visited the house as part of a paranormal experiment in the late 90s.
He supposedly went with a group and he was the only survivor.
She spoke with him briefly on the phone but he didn't have much time.
He was recently fired from his job at a garage and may be financially motivated.
She tried to look into it some more but didn't find very much except that a Kaci Xiong may have been one of the people with him. She was reported missing and her body was found later outside of Gateway in Colorado.
