The Rain and Low Lakes

"Low lake levels are driving truth seekers to look for secret facilities at lake beds.
After video emerged of a group claiming to have found an entrance now exposed at Lake Mead, the government has closed off access to the area. Official sources say all that was found was maintenance access for pump controls and that accessing such areas can be highly dangerous.
This "discovery" though has driven more people to explore their local lakes, especially as covid restrictions unfold."

"If someone placed a circle at the bottom of a lake.  It could create this much rain.  How would they power it?  We could tip the government off.  They have resources to explore that.  I have the skills to manage a lake, but who knows what is down there.

“Sacrifices, or maintaining casters near by, to continuously power them. But unless they were draining the lakes and storing the water elsewhere, I’d say it’s unrelated.”

"They could just make a circle at the bottom of the lake. Or if there is a drainage system, put a circle around it. Make it out of metal, and it would last.

“It would still need to be powered from time to time, plus the low lakes were happening before the rains.”

“Lucien.” Percival says as he comes back with a notebook, “Landry’s notes point to two lakes that the Ankroptic cult considered sacred, Crater Lake, and Gateway Lake, we should see about the levels of those, as they obviously have access to them, my biggest concern now is that Mr. Owl may be working with them, since he controls the lake at Gateway.” He shakes the notebooks a bit, there is also a list of names or seconds and acolytes in the cult, we should find out more about them, and then summon each and everyone and deal with them.”

He shakes his head and sighs a bit, “I think we screwed up by killing Landry.”

“Another interesting bit is the spell entitled ‘Banishment’ if we can figure out a way to use it to banish the parasites that infect people from the hazmital rains or even the maggots that the Ankroptic folks imbibe, we could help a lot of folks.”
